Looking for a pic of S6 lowered with H&R:

I haven't experienced any rubbing or bottoming out of any kind. The only "problem" I have is in my alley, where it joins the street, there is a big depression, so the bottom of the spoiler/bumper gently scrapes the concrete. Needless to say, I go out the other end where I don't have that issue. Besides this location, I haven't had any other issues (even with speed bumps and parking curbs).
In re: to the exhaust, when the car is cold, it tends to idle higher, thus making the exhaust sound louder, but not raspy. I haven't ever heard the exhaust sound raspy. After about 30-45 seconds, the RPM's drop and the exhaust quiets down (until you stomp on the gas!!!).
A solution to being able to adjust the front coilovers without taking them out every time is to drill a small hole under the hood on the top of the wheel well, where the adjustment **** is located on the coilover. I haven't done this as I am happy with the quality of the ride and where the fronts are set. KW sets the coilovers at level 3 (out of five). If I did feel like adjusting them, I would go to level 2; however, I would probably want to adjust them back to 3 as I think 2 would be too soft.

How do springs compare to ride and how much of a drop is it..>I did coils before and ended up pissing my wife off bc it was so harsh of a ride all the time. When i tried to soften it up basically I felt like I would get float on the highways and it worried me. So i went back to stiff and no one really enjoyed how rough it was. I dont want that again but do want a lower stance. Can you give me some advice on this...
TIA

I can't answer that as I have never had springs on the car, except for the KWv3 coilovers. Mu bro-in-law did have HR springs on his BMW and did say they dropped the level of the stance but were also a bit stiffer than stock. I cannot answer your question directly, sorry. Good luck!

I really wish I could see the difference between springs and your setup. Height and ride.. I have done coilovers before but after the second adjustment I really did not want to adjust them again. They were a pain to get exactly where I wanted them.
