Just bought an '06 A6 3.2 NAVI, BOSE, COLD WEATHER, TECH PACKAGE for $20K
Hey guys I am new to this site. I just bought an Black/Tan '06 A6 with a bunch of cool features at 49,500 miles. I already took it to the dealer and had an ignition coil replaced and literally at 49,980 miles. I wanted to know what you guys think about extended warranties for this specific car (people to go/what kind to get etc.) I realize that I have 20 miles to get a warranty so I need to make a decision in the next day. I am absolutely in love this car but will be able to breathe easily once I get everything settled in. Another question that I had was concerning the phonebook on the MMI. I have a Palm Centro and have connected it to the car via bluetooth however I am unable to bluetooth contacts onto the cars phonebook. Anyways I am really excited about my new car and I hope I can keep it this way. Thanks

For your phone, check your MMI version. If not up to 4130, then you need to update for the phone...
to work (if you have the "lawyer screen" on MMI start-up, then you are out-of-date). STFA and you'll find lots of info on this MMI update. I just updated my '06 A6 Avant last Saturday, and now I have the MY '08 MMI version, which supports your Palm Centro phone.

Nope, you either do the update yourself or pay the dealer to update. Follow the link...
