Thanks IMD, the reservoir wasn't a big deal one bolt only, I appreciate you taking time to look it up. I don't think the second instructions apply to a 2007 A6 4.2 either

IMD thank you very much for the help! I genuinely appreciate it, if you ever come to Michigan I owe you a beer!
I wish others chipped in too with their knowledge but all is good. Let me share the result with you , took of the connector on top of the valve and measured the resistance across the contacts of the valve where the wires connect. Resistance was 6.7 OHM. So far so good so I connected the pin that's in the front of the engine to the negative of the car battery and than connected the pin closer to the firewall and touched the positive of the battery for about half a second. Nothing! I kept touching the positive side for one second and than disconnecting it for about another second. I must have hit it about 10-15 times when i heard a faint click, kept doing it and the clicks got progressively louder. About 30 times, plugged in the harness , turned the key and MIRACLE!!! The old hag purrs like a kitten just like before! Electroshock worked, freed the Valve! I have to confirm the block 092 readings as soon as my laptop battery is charged
I hope this post helps someone else!
