Default Help with choosing Tires

Alright, i'm in need of tires bad for my Car. There 245 45 17's.

I'm in MN so yes I need all season tires to handle snow, ice, sleet and rain temps from 110*F to -20*F. I want something that will last and give good traction in the snow.

I currently run which came on the car are Cooper Zoen Sport r/s's with roughly 20K on them and are one of the worst tires Ive ran. Completely shot.

Anyone have any idea of a good tire for me?

Looking at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS Tires. Seems they have the best reviews for a True All-Season tire.

What do you all think? Has anyone ran these on an Audi A6 Quattro before?

I've got them and really like them. Best AS I've had so far and very well priced. Tire has DWS engraved in the middle tread to monitor tread wear. D for dry, W for wet and S for snow. Tires have 27,000 miles on them and they still have the "S" on them so tread has many more miles left to go.
At first they feel a little slick so give them roughly 500 miles to break in.

I have the Conti DWS on my S6, and pleased with them. Doing pretty well in all the snow we've gotten too.

I just put the Conti DWS's on my 3.2, they did just fine in recent snowfall.

I have about 5,000 miles on Conti DWS on my S6. They did well on wet and dry roads during the fall and in snow and ice these past couple of weeks. The tires are smooth and quiet. Would buy again at this point.

Be careful because the conti dws have soft sidewalls and you can feel it when you take corners. I would not buy them again.

I run ContiProContacts. With the last two winters here in NJ, I have found they go pretty good in the snow.
