Default finally took some pics

Hi guys,

Well we finally got some clear weather around here, so thought I'd share some pics of the car with all of you...lmk what you think.

So far the mods on my C6 4.2 are the following:
• KW V1 coilover suspension
• C7 S6 wheels
• Dension 500 ipod integration
• RS sway bars and adjustable links
• Custom Aluminum side mirror caps
• Tinted windows all around

The car came with the Technology package, Convenience package, Cold weather, rear electric sunshade…so fairly darn loaded

My to be installed mods are:
• RS grille - get rid of the front plate
• MagnaFlow Performance Stainless Steel Exhaust

Besides the normal stuff one does to their car, I just did the following in the last month:
• Transmission fluid swap and filter
• New differential fluid (front, rear and transfer case)
• 5w40 synthetic fluid only (9.5 quarts!!!)
• New Valve cover gaskets
• Mann Pollen filter
• Mann fuel filter
• OE Air filter
• OEM spark plugs
• a number of vag-com mods: windows roll-up/down with key, etc...

Thanks for the complement on the wheels.

As for fluids, here's what I put in, but your fluid will depend upon the transmission you have:

Transmission fluid: ZF Lifegaurd8
Differential Fluid: Redline 75W90 GL-5

Thanks for the comments.

Fwiw, I'm going to be replacing the orange side markers with clear ones, adding the new grille and installing the new exhaust system in the next 30 days.

So will be posting updates as those 'improvements' take place.

Love the wheels - are they OEM? Where did u get them from? I spray painted the side markers to match the body paint so they blend with the car. Got the paint from the local pepboys (don't have to be exact match). Clear will make them still stand out - but if thats what u want....

You forgot a mod: Calipers painted red. Did you do those or the car came that way?

Wheels are OEM and are the anthracite polished 10-spoke design wheel with 255/35 summer performance tires, which are included in 2013 Sport Package) as seen here: http://models.audiusa.com/a6-sedan

As for the side marker...I'm now thinking of vinyl wrapping it a dark gray metallic color to match the car. That way it will still work and show when on, but in the day it will blend with the car.

Good catch on the calipers...I forgot about that. Yeah those were powder coated and seem to go well with the car.

Love the rims, calipers, and rear spoiler. All add just a subtle bit of sport that makes it stand out if you look close.
