Default Expected repairs for 2007 A6 after 150,000 miles

I have a 2007 A6 Avant that I just love and it will have put 150,000 miles on it any day now. I have taken great care of it - all routine maintenance at Audi dealer and no major repairs yet! What can I expect in the next 50,000 miles of use in terms of repair risks and cost? Many thanks! Tom

Have you changed the tranny, differential, transfer case fluids? Also, the steering/suspension components will need to be looked at with that level of mileage. I'm not even going to touch on chain guides, since that's something that either happens or doesn't.

Tom, welcome aboard! Has the engine been de-carbon-ed yet?

Yes, fluids have all been changed.
But... haven't de-carboned engine and I will have steering/suspension looked at.
Not sure about reference to "chain guides", but checked out "C6 TSB Library link" and now I need to get an early martini!
Thanks for the feedback from all...looks like there are all sorts of options for mechanical failures.

Go for it Kevin. He already said he had a stiff drink, so that should soften the blow. Lol

When you going to check at the power stering parts, remove both boot at the inner tie rod and make sure both seal of the steering gear are good.

Bought my '06 A6 Avant 5/14 w/180K now at 213K. PO replaced both front wheel bearings 160-170K. Other than water leak that I'm still trying to isolate the only non-maintenance items it's needed are 3rd light LED ($95), some sort of PCV or emissions (I think) valve at back center top of engine ($17 for Bosch on ebay) and a Cam Position sensor $30-40) Replaced VC gaskets & cam seals & still leaks a little oil. Considering I paid $5K I'm not complaining.
Bought '07 A6 Avant 12/14 w/114K now 138K nothing other than Oil/Filters!

at 162000 you will get leaking water pump. at 167324 miles you will need to replace steering rack. And at 183728 miles you right rear break caliper will have seased pin. or may be not or maybe you will win lottery and hit the dear. or maybe all of the above but in different order. At the Plank's constant level you get certain uncertainty and it all adds up from the up.
