I want to fit new EPB calipers to my 2009 A6 C6 Avant.
I have been told that if I unplug my existing calipers I will be in trouble.
How the hell do I fit new EPB calipers ?

EDIT - I have just been looking at this video and there is no mention of recoding the calipers after reconnecting the harness

I don't believe you need to calibrate EPB calipers on the A6 C6 platform.

Not sure what kind of scan tool you have, I have the cheap XTool from Amazon and it will allow you to access the EPB via the tool (to cycle to caliper or put it into service position) So I think all the EPBs do, is move in or move out. I don't think there is any kind of feedback system or "brains" to calibrate. Just a simple electronic motor that spins a threaded shaft.

I know that unplugging some other systems will need a recode.
Would you mind unplugging your calipers for me to see what happens.
