Default Engine oil drain plug

I was doing my 55K maintenance and got stuck on the oil change part. I'm not sure where the drain plug is located. Is it the red circled one on this pic?

If so, is it suppose to be so tight? Tried to loosen it but it wont budge. So i just want to make sure first before tryin to remove it again.

idk, I haven't done my oil change yet. Ping/page r1racer. Does an 18mm fit that plug? Is this on the passenger side?

5) Drain the oil using an 18mm wrench/socket. You don't need to jack the car back up if your oil drainage pan can fit under the car like mine. The drain plug is right at the front of the car on the passenger's side. You can't miss it. Be sure not to lose the washer that is on the drain plug.

You might want to post on audizine - some of the folks there know everything about fixing cars.

Yes, that's the oil drain plug circled. It's a big hole, and drains oil VERY VERY fast. Make sure you have a large container under.

The 3.2 is different. It's on the passenger side and is a bolt. It is not on th bottom of the pan but instead on the side (toward the bottom). I will be doing an oil/filter change in a couple more thousand miles and will take pics(65k service).

Have not done the rear pads yet as they are still good for another 5k or so it seems.

Pic of the drain plug would be very helpful (and of all the steps involved in oil change). Now I am fearful that I might run into the same issue of doubting myself if that really is the right plug after I remove the belly pan.
