Does the dealer really flush?

Does the dealer really flush?
OK this is a weird question, but recently I had to get my coolant, brake, and power steering flushed. My question is do you think they actually empty the oil and what not from your car. I mean they could just top it off and no one would ever know right? I wish there was a way to know you are getting your moneys worth.
Also off topic, but when audi dealers perform an oil change, do they flush the oil? Or do they just add oil.

Oils changes are different. They remove the old oil and replace it with new oil along with a new filter.
If you suspect that your mechanic/dealer is not performing the service properly, find a new place that you can trust. You can sometimes watch as the services are performed.

Coolant, brake, and power steering fluids should have drained, more fluids poured through the systems to flush out debris and new fluids installed.

- brake fluid changes color after two years to greyish yellow. It is easy to spot new fluid from the old one. So I do not think anyone can fool you here. Ant the service states that they must flush the brake lines.
- The coolant does not need to be flushed. They usually top it of. Once I got a old car with red and green coolant mixed (I did not do it ). And just replacing coolant did not help. I brought car to dealer and they said that I need "power flush" and they do not do it. I had to take the car to the Pepboys.
- Transmission fluid is not flushed and a lot of it stays in torque converter. I think there is some procedure to gradually replace it.
- motor oil is not flushed
- diff oil is not flushed
- power steering fluid drained/replaced.
