I am not sure if it is just my 2011, but the heated seats dont seam to produce much heat. On level 6 i can feel it warm, my 05 i could feel the seats warm up faster and keep warmer. Anyone one else notice this or should i have it looked at?

I live in Florida and on a cool winter morning they work nice and only nice...they would not get to the toasty have-to-turn-it-down heat the seats would get to in my 2000 BMW or my 1995 Mercedes.

I have (for sale) an '06. It heats up very nicely (where I have to turn it down). I just got an '11 and haven't tried out the seat warmers yet. I'm interested to see what happens. I'll let you know what I find (though the '11 is at the body shop now to touch up some scratches--because I'm picky).

I've had 2006 and now 2009. I did not notice any change in the setting. I can't handle the heat on setting 6. I normally keep it at 3 or 4. My girlfriend on the other hand, can handle up to 6. A lot warmer than my Lexus.

Don't know about the Audi but from my experience with Caddys I've noticed the same behavior in older versus newer model years.

I had a 98 Eldorado ETC that would burn you quickly if you weren't paying attention. My 03 STS and now my 07 STS don't heat nearly as high or fast.

Makes me wonder if this is the result of a McDonalds coffee in the crotch type of lawsuit somewhere along the way. Maybe a safety mandate?

I've compared the two now ('06 vs. '11). I haven't had both cars running and then switched back and forth between the two, but I would say there seems to be a difference. It does seems the '06 gets warmer--which I prefer, because then you can turn it down.
