Default I see what you're saying - but in that case I tap the paddle up a couple gears

and get the car back in fuel saving mode, then the car takes over more quickly.

But I admit taking a hand off the steering wheel doesn't concern me as much, since I had manual transmission cars even through all my Philly/NYC/Chicago years.. in L.A it is easier though.

It was noted on the window sticker..i guess you can't use paddles with warm hands!

Default I stand corrected....New Order Guide now shows paddle shifters N/A with Cold Weather Pkg...

...Just (2ZM) Heated 4-Spoke Multi-Function Steering Wheel (w/o Paddles).

Doesn't make sense, since my A8 has heated steering wheel w/paddles. Go figure!

I guess they figure Americans are too coddled; Audi wants us tougher! ;^)
