C6 Motor Oil - Liqui Moly
Found this motor oil for sales in Amazon. It said it made in Germany. It meets VW 502 and 505 requirement.
Liqui Moly 2041 Premium 5W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil
Have anyone use this motor oil for C6? What is the opinion on this oil?

I have been using it in my S4 and RS5
It is a well known and respected oil in Europe - especially in Germany, where is it made. Their headquarters are in Ulm. The 5w-40 is sold as the premium oil change option by ECS in their kit form. Because the oil filters are hard to get locally for the S4 and RS5 (outside of the dealership), I have taken to ordering the whole kit via the internet. Historically, I have always used Mobil 1 0w-40 with excellent results as well. Granted I only go 5K between changes and I have not sent my oil off for analysis. Perhaps those who have might comment on Liqui Moly…

just used it in my last oil change
We'll see when the Blackstone lab report comes back after the next oil change.
I've heard nothing but good things about it though.

Thanks guys. This really help. when my c6 ages, I have been changing oil between 5-6k interval. I had been using Castro since I bought the car. I guess I am going to try Liqui Moly for my next oil change.

Liqui-Moly 5-40 is nothing special. No better and no worse than Mobil 1 0-40 for wear. I sent samples of both to Blackstone after 10,000 miles of use and neither showed much if any wear in my 4.2. The TBN (active ingredient) was better with the Mobil 1 so I only used the Liqui-Moly for one change (just to see if it was any better wiith the startup rattle I've had since 50,000 miles and on). I've always done 10,000 miles changes on my 4.2 and the inside of that engine never showed even a hint of sludge or wear using Mobil 1, so I decided to stick with it and consider it my oil of choice moving forward. The 4.2 exhibited extremely low wear metals using Mobil 1 0-40. Not sure if the engine is that good or the oil, but I know the oil is what kept the inside of the engine clean.
