1. The steering rack has a high intensity juddering noise when parking (ie the steering wheel is being turned 360 degrees or more rapidly), esp when there are high levels of grip on the surface;

2. I've complained repeatedly about the noise made by the electronic parking brake on engagement, esp when the pads are worn; and

3. A-Pillar and Roof Bar Make Cracking Noises : TSB# 2012964 - has anyone gotten this fixed?

4. Smoky exhaust at idle. I've now noticed quite a few C6s at stoplights with the same white smoke at idle.

I'm having the gearbox, transmission damper and suspension bushings changed under warranty. Any other suggestions?

I get the steering issue you describe when turning the wheel on shiny surfaces like inside parking garages, but never on regular asphalt.

What lead you to get the gearbox and transmission damper and suspension bushings changed?

between the box and driveshaft is worn out. This is the 2nd time they're changing it. Probably the way I drive the car, but they should have a more robust product.

Suspension bushing are normal wear and tear items, but the dealer has been doing this for me under warranty since my first 80E in 1995.

re: item 1...I think the manual specifically says lock-to-lock turning of wheel will cause damage?
