I need to find a shop in town to hardwire mine... I am so tired of tickets... Last time I got pulled over I just let it have it to the cop after he kept on asking me if I was in the hurry. After my snappy comeback he came back with 3 tickets. What a b!tch, I guess I really hurt his feelings... oh yeah, I was only going 10 over. I bet he felt like a man after doing all that.

I wouldn't go anywhere without my V1. That thing has paid for it's self 10 times over. The only bad thing is laser. Don't know how the passport is on this but I don't know what anything can do against it. Too quick. I have found that there is a little laser "burst" if the car in front or alongside of you gets shot so you get a short heads up its coming.

With Laser, the 9500xi very conveniently lets you know the speed the LEO will be writing on your ticket, once they finish pulling you over

The only laser defense is a jammer...

The 9500ci with the jammers has been fantastic for me...no tickets and i travel up and down route 95 quite a bit...but at a grand for all the compnents and 300 more for install, it is sort of the lesser of two evils...

I took tturner2 advice about the Escort 9500ci and four times I could remember being hit with laser and I escaped without a ticket.

V1!

As far as picking up laser, you still are best protected by encouraging someone to speed in front of you (about 1/2 mile will do) and then you'll pick up the laser scatter as they get nabbed.

And I think you'll know how to encourage someone ELSE to speed as your lead car!

I use V1 for radars and bell 904 as laser jummer. It soft of tricky - you want to shut down jummer right away or cop will get suspisious.

Just an update. I finally found the S6 for me. Going to pick it up next Monday or Tuesday. '07, 18k miles. Silver/Blk. Audi CPO. I'm going to drive it around a bit before I do anything to it, but I like some of the wheel/tire, ECU and exhaust upgrades that I've seen. I'll post a couple pictures when I grab it.

Sweet finding one with so few miles. Mine had 25 and I havent seen one with anywhere near that few.

Curious-- what did it run you-- you can PM me if you dont want to post.
