i havent tried these examples yet, but i will come spring time. I had the LED ones from autozone that just replaced the bulb, not the fully assembly. They gave me fault codes and would flicker off. So i returned to stock ones until i find new ones. im going to try the OEM C7 assembly most likely.

I have tried aretardedorange's setup and that did not work. I tried a set from ebay "that was guaranteed to work" and it didn't. Just looking for something that gives more light.
BTW this is for the interior trunk light. Not the license plate lights.

I just recently purchased it so haven't received in the mail yet. Ill let you know if it works.
They also have the trunk LED sold separate if your looking for just that.

Racing Dash used to make a plug and play LED replacement trunk (luggage compartment) light. This was a direct replacement of the housing - not just the bulb. These were LED arrays specifically designed as a replacement, not a universal kit. I installed one back several years ago - bought them from PySpeed. I don't think PySpeed carries them anymore, or if they are even available. But do a search for Racing Dash, and maybe you'll get lucky.

Don't know the seller, so I can't vouch for them. And IIRC, they came in a set of two - only needed one for the trunk. Maybe you can split the cost with another forum member who wants one.
