Fully agree fixes a lot of bugs I have been experiencing. Also it's good to have done in case you ever upgrade you Nav map dvd.

Oh man did I stumble upon a fix for this problem? Seems to be working today after an update to iOS 5.1 on my iPhone4.

I noticed a guy at work had an update available on his settings. Go to settings, open up general, do a Software Update to iOS 5.1 and tell us how that works. Mine actually stayed connected today on the way home unless it was a fluke. Hoping this is the cure!!!!!!

I think I've still been having the issue with iOS 5.1, but I haven't had much access to the car recently. Can anyone else confirm?

Darn, having the same issues as before again today, false alarm, still a piece of crap. I'd like to throw the iPhone right out the window when it comes to the bluetooth in the Audi. Tried to re-pair it to the car too. Nothing good to report.

I am running MMI 33.6 and an iPhone 4s with IOS 5.1 and am not having any issues. I don't know if anyone else is running the same combination.

Good to know, I'm running the same MMI 33.6 but only using the iPhone4. Strange, you wouldn't think there would be a difference between the phones using the same OS 5.1

Default Bluetooth paring MMI 4610

The original manual for my 2005 A6 4.2 details that I must cradle a compatible cell phone in the center console for Bluetooth integration. Since I've upgraded the MMI all the way from the base version to 4610, can I do a wireless pairing now? I dont see the options in any of the MMI settings. Thanks.

You could always do a wireless Bluetooth connection with the 05, even with the 7.5 software. Just start the car and have your phone search for Bluetooth devices, when it finds the Audi just type in the password 1234. Then you will all be set.

How do you update firmware? Do I have to take it to the dealer?

F the Stealer! search MMI under user MainlandMig, he hooked me up with all necessary info. Follow instructions to the letter, as he said if you burn your MMI you will be in trouble.
