Best way to drain coolant for 2007 S6?

There is not enough room on the V10 to drain it the way you recommend. On the 3.2 you have all the room imaginable. On the 5.2 you can barely move the coolant tank out.

Yes, it’s very tight fit. Even with the air filter removed , you still have to work it out from its hole.

I guess so! I applaud Audi for fitting that V10 into such a small engine bay. It is packed and maintenance would be complicated but there are a lot of benefits too.

Maintenance can be a struggle. So many things require you to pull the engine like O2 sensors. It’s a reliable engine though.

Haha, good points but it had better be a reliable engine if you have to pull it for even O2 sensors!! Although, with an engine like that you don't pull the engine from the car, you remove the car from the engine.

Can you not just swing the tank out of the way, without draining anything? You can on the V6s
