Default Audi MMI Nav disc

Question about the navigation system. Is it possible to update the navigation maps with a disc that's already used by someone else? Does it have like activation codes that can only be used once? or do I HAVE to get new ones from Audi?

AFAIK, you can use the NAV CD to update the system more than once. But you have to leave the disc in place once the system is updated for you to use it.

So if it's a burned copy from another person's Nav disc will it still be functional?

If properly burned as a disk image (iso) I believe so. Unfortunately the only map disks I can find torrents of are European ones.
