Audi MMI 2011 High 2G nav software!!!!!
Does anyone know if you MUST update MMI High 2G to be able to use Audi new 2011 Navigation software? If so, where can i get it. I have the new software and i get no map on screen. Thanks.

No. MMI update has nothing to do with 2011 Nav maps. Once 2011 map DVD is in, it will install all necessary software.

the software update and new maps go hand in hand. Map cd updates are not compatiable with audi's that do not have that year map version already. there is a possibility that you can blow your telephone module trying to update your nav software. i only know this bc i just got my car back from audi today and that what was explained to me why they cant get the cd to work. does it make sense well not really but w/e imo i think there's a way to get the new maps to install w/o the software update so in looking for that now.

I have MMI 41.40 and 2010 maps running without any issues. What version MMI do you guys have?
"I had my 2G MMI updated to the latest version 4610 (4.6.10) today at the dealer. The update seems to have broken the Bluetooth phone integration. I will be taking in back next week to have that fixed".
This guy is not so happy with 4610 update

USA Navigation disc 2011 for 2G MMI should work fine with any USA 2G MMI version. Any MMI version newer than 0750 may not work well with Navigation disc version 4 (Early Navigation version of US 2005 C6)
