Anyone want a wheel?
Hey I traded in my 05 Audi A6, and forgot to give them the fullsize spare. It's the OEM 16 inch wheel. It has a michilen pilot exalto on in with a small bit of tread left. $20 plus shipping and handling its yours. Sorry if this is the wrong area to post this. Didn't find a c6 classified area.

Roger that sorry been off so long.
Its just taking up space. I'm sure its worth more then 20 bucks. Lol lets say thats a starting bid if you guys want to go higher on each other I have no issues with that. Yet, if no one else is interested 20 plus shipping and handling gets it. Its from a 05.5 C6 A6 3.2 Quattro. Its just taking up space in my garage. I'm sure it would make a decent full sized spare.

Some 2005s had 16" wheels as the base setup, with 17" as an option. Thus the 16" spare. Not sure if later model years can fit a 16" wheel over the brakes and steering components...someone else will have to chime in on that.

I'm pretty sure that the 4.2 with the larger brakes will not work with the 16" wheel. Furthermore, from an aesthetic PoV, 16s really don't do much.

The 3.2s A6 sedans had the smallest A6 brakes. Early, original front rotors on these sedans were 321mm. I am guessing these are for an early C6 3.2 with the small discs. The 321mm small front discs use the small 302 solid rear disk.
If i remember correctly, all 4.2s A6s had the bigger, 347mm rotors, due to vehicle weight. 347mm was used all around in A6s starting with 09, I believe. Certainly on 3.0T, Avants, V8s. These use 330mm vented rear discs.
Long story short: you need to know your front disk size.

Thanks for the clarification guys. WWB, are you saying that all avants past '09 got larger rotors, or that all avants regardless of year have larger front and rear rotors? It would make sense since it's a heavier version of the C6. Just curious considering I have an '06 avant.
