anyone break 100k yet on the C6 platform?
I'm approaching 60k and the car has been great so far....only a couple of fixes under warranty (big numbers of course)...have 16 months/40k left on the extended warranty and was wondering if anyone kept their cars after 100k and had any reliability/maintenance issues -- thanks

63k needed new tranny at 53k only major issue.
many minor issues taken care of under warranty but then again that usually happens when you buy one of the first production vehicles of that platform.
build date 2/05
follow scheduled maintence and your car won't fail you.
also do NOT follow Audi's 10k oil change plan.
city driving oil is black at 5k.change oil/filter.
highway driving at least change the filter at 5k.

audisport1, do you bring your car to Audi dealer to have the maintenance job done? or outside reputable shops?
I need to get my 55k + 75k maintenance done (recently acquired the car, previous owner only did oil change and regular maintanence).. would you guys recommend brining it to Audi or shops that does the scheduled service as well (Sears Auto, etc)? I got a quote of $850 to do the 75k service at the audi dealership in Columbus, OH. sounds about right?

I stick with getting all services done at the dealer. I have the dealer change the oil at 5K intervals and the tranny and differential fluids every 40K. I am at 72K miles and the car still runs strong. I have had my share of electrical/software issues.

I would not bring my Audi to Sears. Dealers are more expensive, but they know Audi's. If you can find a local independant that specializes in Audi/VW, you can save some CASH. I have all warrenty work done a the dealer and non warrenty done at Reflex Tuning in Manchester NH.
Oh yeah, I will turn 90k this week. I put 800 miles on it over the weekend, all highway cruising 75-85 the whole way.
If you have multiple Audi dealers in your area, call all of them. They vary drastically in wha they charge for service.
