All this talk about S6 being under powered just got me thinking....
What's going to happen when the New M3 comes out? How's BMW going to fit the 335i, M3, and M5? Performance figures will be very close. They can't make the M3 faster than the M5, but it can't be slower than 335i.

Yes, but I also read that...
the M3 will hit 60 in around 5 sec, which is going to be close to the 335i. If it goes close to around 4.7 sec than it comes really close to M5 territory.

If you had read my postings below....
I was arguing against measuring a car just by 0-60. I have the S6 and it's a lovely car to drive and a comfy place to be in. Since everyone was talking about 0-60 I just thought to bring this up as the times between cars are getting ever so close.

IMHO, BMW has guarded the sales of M5 by making M3 a coupe for the last years...
the 335i may become what A4 1.8T of yester-years as the car of choice for mod, again only time will tell.
the S6 is like $300 bottle of wine, are you really getting 50% more taste compare to $200 wine? Only a wine connoisseur can answer that. IMHO, $50 wine is plenty fine :-)

i think s6 times are faster than reported...
again...there is way more to an auto than what is in an article. so much of who wins is dependent on the driver, conditions, how far they are willing to go to win, wreck or get a ticket.

The 335 is easily moded to 360hp
For only $1300 with an XEDE computer.<ul><li><a href="http://www.vishnutuning.com/bmw_subzero.htm">http://www.vishnutuning.com/bmw_subzero.htm</a</li></ul>
