After receiving notice of my 2008 Audi A6's airbag recall I had it serviced at my local Audi dealer. That was back in late September or early October. Sunday after church I noticed a res light saying "Air Bag" had come on at the 2 o'clock position on the dash. The car's not been in an accident.

Has this happened to anyone else after their airbag recall?

yes I took my 2008 Audi s6 to have airbag recall fixed and got it back and airbag light has been on since then.

I have had the recall and have also experienced the airbag light. I checked for the specific codes with VCDS and it turned out to be a bad connection. I also seem to remember that it happened on the steering wheel airbag as well as some sensor in the rear seat. Once I tended to those issues I haven't seen them since.
