Are you under house arrest, or do you stay there on purpose?

awe, it was only -4 on my ride to work. The only issue I had was the battery light flashed on a couple of times the first mile or so. By the time I checked the level indicator on MMI it was 100%. Not sure what was going on there (although it is a 2005 with the original battery...)

Default Re: Mine didn't

Couldn't get the trunk to latch last night. Drove home with it closed but not latched. Messed with it in the garage for a half hour. Still couldn't get it to latch properly. Drove to work today and it finally latched itself. Now I'm afraid to open it.

Default Yes. Dealer should replace the latch with a revised one if you're still under warranty.

If you're not, the part number for the revised latch is 4F5-827-505-D, so you can buy it from a site like genuinevwaudiparts.com and install it yourself.

STF, this issue was discussed before. WD-40 is the answer!

That's the beauty of using synthetic engine oils.

Default You all are real men! It was 48 this morning in FL and I was cold... But don't worry, we warmed up

to 65 as this is the coldest day of the year.
Sorry guys, I have to do this as I suffer in the Summer.
Stay warm!

PS. I finally got to use my heated seats!
