See the article below... I'm not sure how I feel about it. "Understated" I like, "woman's car" I don't necessarily agree with...<ul><li><a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17647793/">Forbes article on top 10 macho male cars...</a></li></ul>

"quiet sophistication" is a good description.
If that makes it a woman's car is open to debate.
I observe that people who are more sensitive to aesthetics tend to like the car more than other brands. I don't think it is an accident of chance that many gays and women prefer Audi. I take it as reaffirmation of a well thought out design and excellent use of colour and material.

Macho is the "key" word.
It's like I see then current version CLK & always the SLK's & say, "That's a chick car" (no offense). But not an A6 & certainly not an S6.
I mean I don't look at the 5 series or the E500 & say, "Womens car".
Oh well

Silly article with a shallow premise. There are some pretty "Macho" guys in my town who all love Audis because they are great snow cars, are well put together, and have a great balance of luxury and performance. I just spent the morning in a variety of V8 Ferraris - as the driver. Last I checked,
I had all my female bits ;-P
Oddly enough, the Ferrari is the favourite of young males and rarely gets much attention from women. So the whole male reasoning that a Ferrari will help get chicks seems to be very wrong - except maybe gold diggers on the prowl;-)

Interesting, I was thinking last week that girls comment a lot more that guys about my car.
Some may think that is a good thing for a guy. I on the otherhand am married so it doesnt mean anything to me.

Yes.
Just ask my wife who now complains anytime she has to drive or ride in my 06 Pilot. She does occasionally let me take the A6 when it needs to be serviced or to the car wash however.
