A6 C6 Error with aftermarket LED tail lights. Wiring Problem?
Hey gang, i just got these tail lights (but smoked) and am wondering if you guys have had some initial problems with them? Originally I was getting the notorious driver side tail light errors. The fog, reverse and tail lamp. so instead of buying a replacement assembly like everyone pretty much said to do i decided this was a good excuse to buy something fun and perhaps make the car look a little more up to date. so i got some LED tail lights.
when I plugged them in the signal LED were constantly on, the fog lamp was constantly on and the dash board said the brake light was burnt out. i've already emailed the seller and am waiting on their response...that's if i'm lucky enough to get a response back. but i was wondering if anyone else has bought these lights and had to modify them yourself? i think i may have to figure out the wiring schema and change the wires around. i was really excited when i got them but now i just want my tail lights to work properly. heh. thanks gang.

yeah i'm shipping mine back too but to singapore. i'll be doing it tomorrow. here is the problem. i've attached pictures of our US model lamp pins and the one shipped to us (apparently european model).
US model (My driver side tail lamp)is the white one and the replacement is the red one. you can see that the red one is missing a pin. also i tried running a 9volt through the red one and the pins are not in the same location as the US model.
