2007 A6 3.2 quattro, when cold sometimes no heat at idle?

When I rev up engine or start driving i instantly get heat, and when I come to a stop it will slowly fade to cold air from all vents.. Anybody else had this issue ever?

How old is your thermostat? Sound like a bad thermostat...

It indeed sounds like a bad thermostat.

agreed with the above...also be thankful that our thermostat swap is a SOOO much easier than the old C5, whereby the car had to be put into service position (removal of the entire front of the car), to change the thermostat
