I don't have the speed option in my CAR - INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - TRIP COMPUTER 1, what I do have are the following:
Fuel range
Average fuel mileage
Current fuel mileage
Average speed
Elapsed driving time
Fuel range

Elapsed driving time
I am not near my car, but there is an option to set what you want to be displayed in the cluster.
You need to go to CAR and SETTINGS on the MMI console and look for it. I am not sure if speed is included but I remember that you can chose to display or not display things like average fuel consumption, real time fuel consumption, trip time etc.
