I have a 2006 Audi A6 and i was wondering if there is a digital speedo in the instrument cluster or if it did not come with the car and if it did, how do you enable it?

Only if you have factory Nav installed. You bring it up by using the button on the bottom of the turn signal stalk.

I have the factory Nav installed but when you push that button the digital speedo does not come up, it just switches between trips one and two.

They only where apply after the facelift.
You buy a new cluster.

So if i buy a new cluster from a 2008 or 2009 it will automatically have it on there with no software updates?

I have to be honest I never use it. I don't see dropping the money for a new instrument cluster to get this feature. I think it might be part of the technology package. Do you have a red DIS screen in-between the speedo and tach or a color one?

It is a color one.

I am not near my car, but there is an option to set what you want to be displayed in the cluster.

You need to go to CAR and SETTINGS on the MMI console and look for it. I am not sure if speed is included but I remember that you can chose to display or not display things like average fuel consumption, real time fuel consumption, trip time etc.

This should be available with 3G MMI, but the new replacement 2G MMI cluster has it now.
