Default SiriusXM Linking problem finally resolved :-)

Simple... Sirius radio module dumped and replaced with a used XM Radio module from eBay. Although these 2 companies merged, it seems like older cars with pre-merger modules are starting to notice degradation in reception. Especially Sirius ones.
Just wanted to share and save someone else from ripping out their antenna or tinkering with other electronics. Dealership had told me to replace the MOST fiber optics cable for $890. I got the used XMmodule for $150..simple plug and play

I had my Sircius module replaced about a year ago in my 05 so you are not the only one.

Thanks, I'll give that a try! I bought the current one 7 years ago on Ebay for $60
