I am attempting to add bluetooth music to my car. I purchased hoping it would work. After hooking it up, it was able to play music, however my aftermarket subs were not kicking in. They are hooked up through the MMI because I can play with the equalizer and the subs will respond properly. Is there something obvious I am missing that is causing this? Would purchasing another product like be a good idea?

They both connect via the same method so you will have the same problem.
