06 3.2Q tail light bulb repalcement
Wanted to give a little detail to the repair on my passenger rear turn signal light bulb replacement.
Watched an online video for the drivers side that helped with the majority of the job.
You need to remove the panel where the jack it. there is a black disk cover on the tail that comes out easy with a screw driver (it's above the 12v outlet). Behind the disk is the 13mm bold that holds the tail light assembly. I then removed the black splash guard that is next to the tail light assembly for a better view.
I had to use a long screw driver on the 13mm bolt to help guide it out of the hole in the body. From there the harness is easily disconnected. Tail light bulb was PN wag bp17638na from auto value parts store (2pk $4.07). The tail bulbs are cheap, but they weren't in stock otherwise I would have replaced them.
Owners manual says to take the car to the dealer to have bulbs replaced. Probably would have ended up costing in the ~$100 range. It is defiantly a DIY project. Maybe a step up from changing a tire as you want to be careful not to break anything.
