Evening all. I was able to fix my jambing sunroof problem. I took the glass out this morning and found that there where two tracks which connect to the solar panel which where broken. I took them out and now the sunroof and panel work without binding. The only problem if there is one, is that now the panel will not open with the the glass, I have to move it manually. This is not a problem. It will at least hold me over until I can take it to the dealer. Also I found my interior door handle problem. Come to find out that the cable snapped near the latch. I tried to fix it myself with a crimped steal sleeve, but it would not stay in the sleeve. After many curse words I decided to order some new cables. I found 2 cables (I decided to get a back up just in case) at Shokan for $15 each. They should be here either tomorrow or Saturday. Once I get it in hand it should be fixed in 5 minutes. I also got some PaintScratch on the way so I can paint my new headlight washer cover. These cars are really not that difficult to work on. Finding the parts seems to be the most difficult part.

The cable for the door handle is a common failure and only around 30 dollars new. Its not the kind of part thats worth taking a chance buying used.

I have a few dealers within a 100 miles or so. I just never had the time to go up there, plus they where sayin $45 per cable and that it would take a little over a week to get here. I only tried one dealer. If this doesn't work out, I will try some other dealers. Thanks for the tip.

Sounds like you got a parts numbnut to lazy to actually lok up the price for you.
