Default Will these fit? More important...

<center><img src="http://shop.achtuning.com/ProductImages/images/product_images_hartmann/Hartmann_Audi_RS6_172.jpg"></center><p>Thinking of getting the summer setup going. Looking at the Hartmann HRS6 - 172. 18x8.5" | ET30 | 5x112 bolt pattern with 255-40-18 tires.
How will they look in your opinion.
I have a 2002 (Non HP2) 2.7T. These would be a wide stance, but too wide? Opinions?

Default These look good on 2.7Ts

ET30 sounds good to me. Maybe 5mm wide from the usual offset, but would you ever notice 5mm if no one mentioned it?

Only really worried about rubbing... I'd notice that!

Default Offest is as far out as you'd want to go and the 255 is wider than I'd go on a narrow body. Combined

with the 255 tire, you very well may rub. If you are lowered at all, I am betting substantial rubbing.

Default My opinion....(with pics)........

<img src="http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk202/kcphipps/Audi%20pics/spring08004.jpg">
I ran 18 x 8.5 et30 last summer with 245/45/18 on my '04 A6 2.7T S-line. While it had a wide, mean looking stance from the rear, sometimes I thought it looked a little ghetto with too much rim/tire outboard of the fender wells. I have stock sport suspension, if lowered I am fairly certain it would have rubbed. Also, the amount of crap that got kicked up by the wide tires kept streaks and spots up the side of the car all summer!! I am on the hunt for 8" wide rims with a 35 offset to bring the outer edge in a little!!

I don't have HP2 calipers, wheels cleared by a mile, never had a problem with rubbing with the 245 width, just didn't like the appearance. But I did like the look from some angles, much better than the stock 17 x 7.5 et43, so thats why I'm looking for something in between. Just my $.02. Others, like BD and 5speed6, have probably run numerous combinations on the 2.7t and could give you other opinions.....

Default In my opinion, anything less than et32 is a mistake on the narrow...

body. And 35 is the widest. for the same reasons mentioned by jimmy, cargasm -
