Just ordered it. Will pick it up this afternoon. Don't know exactly when I'll give it a try, but when I do I'll revisit this post.

EDIT - ordered the 3M kit referenced below

I've done our (daughters) 01 last year with the wet sand, 3M per-fect compound 3M final glaze both machine pad wool/foam and liquid glass as a sealer method.

So far not a hint of haze or yellow as water beads off like teflon, I'm wondering how long 3M film will last because of the heat of the lamps

yes the helmsman is the correct stuff but dont use the spary, dillute with mineral spirits 2:1 or 3:1 and brush on. the solution will flatten out and fill in any remaining micro scratches leaving a NICE polish. im pissed i cant find the images.... ill keep looking.

ps no one has told me how to post images

On my A6, it has been 2 years and looks the same as newly polished. Summer heat, car washes, winters...

Is there any smaller cans of the Urathane cans? Id rather not buy the big can.

The pics can be posted from websites using the little mountain portrait icon or the paper clip icon if its saved on your computer.

Where are you located? I've always wanted to find that ultimate Audi 'U Pull It' type of junkyard with deals like that .

did not have to polish the lights on our a4, but I've had the 3m film on the car for more than 8yrs. Looks close to new- no hint of yellow or rock damage. :-)

CT, but you need to be creative to get deals like that. for example I took out cd changer. Smear with mud lightly on outside. Said that I found it laying on the ground and there's small chance that is still working - 15$
