It's not cheap but it is worthwhile if you plan on doing any DIY stuff on the car..

Default May cost a bit to buy, but I think it saves you $$ in the long run...

...since the information from the scan helps you know what the problem is, and whether or not it really requires a trip to the shop (dealer or indy) for a fix. Many times, the problem, if identified, can be a simple DIY, and you can avoid that "minimum" charge at the repair shop.
