Anybody ever think of transplanting a RS6 engine into a 2.7T engine bay?

Default i dont think so. i think that why the rs6 is wider, to accomadate for a bigger engine....

same for 4.2

conversions work better with VWs not Audis.

engine bay is the same size, flares are for the wheels I think

I am not sure...RS6 has the batteryin the trunk....the 4.2 needs more space

Default As said below, width is the same, but V8 cars have about 2 extra inches in length...

... so do their drivers.

engine is too big....the rs6 and 4.2 are longer and wider for a reason

Default No, the flares are for cramming in the 4.2 V8.

I read that in either Car and Driver or Motor Trend back in the day
