Default URGENT HELP PLEASE TRANSMISSION FLUID

hey guys this morning i wanted to change my engine oil , but by mistake i flushed the transmission oil!!! i want to put the oil back!! BUT I CANT FIND THE FILL GUAGE!! WHERE IS IT!! i search on the forum but cant find anything about the subject!

my car is a a6 3.0 2003 Tiptronic

Default there isn't one... you have to open the tranny drain plug and pump it in.

on the side of the tranny. but don't reuse it. Just put in the right and new fluid.

I doubt you have the tools and knowledge to DIY...have the car towed to your dealer -

Default At least you noticed... that's better than most quick lube places that'd give it back with...

6L extra engine oil (overfilled) and a near empty transmission.

Default Ummm, unless you have a really well supplied home shop>>>

W/ lift and vacumn draw assembly, you will need to get this done professionally. Towing may be in order here.

BTW, oil drain is very close to the oil filter/cooler. At least on my 2.8 it is.

It must be pumped up and over an overflow tube, after being run trough the gears, with the tranny at a specific temperature range.

To do this you must run the car on a lift with most of the fluid in it, then top it off.

Its quite involved for a home job.

bear in mind it requires pretty specific ATF too - factory only or European Esso synthetic (whcih is what the factory stuff is).
