Sunday Poll: What was your most reliable vehicle? Year, brand, model, and how long you owned it.

depends on the 850, they all have RMS failures, bad evaporators, engine mounts, shift interlocks
wheel bearings and a bunch of little stuff. But all European cars have their "list" of known issues. The AWD 850 known as the cross country has some more issues as well. I chose the Audi because I didn't want the 850 awd issues.

My 97 Saturn SC2 and my current A6
Both have been great cars.
I had the Saturn for 6 years and did HPDE and Auto-x's with it every year. At least 60-70 track events total. Did have to rebuild the motor and replace the tranny once, but they were both cheap and Saturns are stupid easy to work on. Sold it with 250k on the clock to a Saturn performance club friend. Still going strong. On track it was a giant slayer. People wonder how it could keep pace with much "faster" cars. And it got 35mpg.
I've had my Audi for two years. My brother owned it for 2.5 years before me. Only have had to replace typical/age related parts. Doesn't drip a drop, just grinds a little going into second from time to time. 143k on the clock now. Love it!

They get small problems like any good Audi....Thing has 170k miles and is better then
most new cars on the road. Its sad when you drive around in your friends new Scion all day, and are happy to get in your 12 year old Volvo! Hell my brother just had a transmission on his V70 T5 replaced by Volvo....3k miles before it was out of warranty. I would never hesitate in buying a Volvo, in fact its what I was looking for before I got my Audi. And an S60 or V70 R might be in the cards...still
