Subzero Temps killed my A6

I started to pull apart the breather/PCV system and intake, there was alot of frozen oil/water mixture in the pipes. I pulled apart the pcv Valve and ended up breaking the hard plastic line connecting to the bottom of the valve. i was thinking about replacing the line with a rubber hose instead.

Run it at idle for an hour to have the oil burn out... I think it is your turbo seal though. The only way a lot of oil can get into IC hose is when turbo fails. Failed PCV system can be responsible for a bit of oil and slight exhaust smoke but nothing like you described... sorry.

How much do you want for this car and where are you?
This is a simple fix, but I will be happy to take advantage of your lack of interest in fixing this simple and well documented issue if you decide to sell the car cheap.

You were/are. Sounds like he doesn't want to get in there and clean it out and change the check valves and replace the suction pump. For about $100 a few hours, he's all set.

i think i fixed it. I cleared out the pcv system a bit and ran the car for over an hour with the oil cap off to remove all the moisture from the system. No more smoke today. Hopefully the cold doesnt freeze it up again.
