In about 10sec. car feel ok, but CEL is now on for my drfive back about 10miles to work. I can't scan or search, because i'm at work and posting from my cell phone. Thanks for any input.

Sounds like you lost a coil pack for a bit, then it started working again.

Default plug wires more likely on 2.8, check for oil in plug holes, that or maybe sudden vacuum leak

and the ecm adapted for it...

Multiple misfire code would be my guess. Clear code, see if it returns.

Default Bad Coil Pack | Vacuum hose leak |

Continuous flashing CEL means park your car and get it fixed.
Drove mine and almost burned the poor car with a 911 call involved for the fire department=)

Bad coil pack = Misfire
Misfire = Fuel going to your cats
Fuel in Cats = (See Pic)
You can almost do smores with it =)<ul><li><a href="http://oops!">http://oops!</a</li></ul>

Default "i have to start and move my car about 9pm i have to move my car from the driveway"

This is the key.

When you run the car breifly and restart later, it is not uncommon to have this problem. It's self-corrcting, but the light will stay on for a while. He's not flashing now, so no worries.

Coil packs on the early 2.8's are the most reliable part of the car. ;-)
