Default Wife took new job close to my work...we ride together. Otherwise wouldn't have THAT much impact.

It is getting expensive though...last week:

Thursday filled up our Mini $47.44 (11 gal)
Saturday filled up Coupe GT $53.40 (12 gal)
Sunday filled up A6 $71.66 (17.5 gal)
and 2 lawnmower gas cans $41.02 (10 gal)

Adds up!

Only thing that pisses me off is Missouri is now 10% ethanol no matter what. No labels on the pumps either!

Default Being more selective when i mash the go pedal, otherwise rebudgeted

Pretty sure many have done the same, and small business owners suffer hence they cannot compete with megastores' supersales.

Default One mile to the train station.

My wife also uses the train. We have different schedules and 2 kids so walking will not work (yet). We do about 4000 miles per year per car.

Default Doesn't change a thing. If I'm that close to the edge, then there are plenty of other things

that make as great is not greater impact. For example, my utilities have gone up 30%. The grocery bill has gone up 20 to 40%.

Fuel costs are integral to so many things on so many levels it isn't funny. End use in a car is the least of my worries.

Thank God for that little perk...

Default Well, i do drive my other car more, but

..mostly I just grumble.

Its just another reason to telecommute once a week when I can make that feasible.
