Show of hands please for 4.2 owners and maybe modded 2.7tt
If you have between 90K and 100K miles on car and someone offered you $9k-10K for you car would you let it go if someone is flashing the funds in front of you?
I have exactly 90K on my 2000 A6 4.2 now and someone is pretty serious about buying it for $9500. I figure it's best to get rid of it before it hit 100K miles.
I really LOVE my 4.2 but it seem that I'd fold quickly when presented with an offer.

2nd. I'd probably add $3500 to that figure for
repairs that are bound to come up in the next two years, with control arms, shocks, etc. nearing the ned of their useful lives. So the question becomes "what would you buy with $13k that would make you happier?".

Will be roughing it for a while in my ole faithful 96 Pontiac Grand AM
Trying to close on a house and will use the funds to help me put down 20% or do home improvements and/or buy furniture. I just want the extra cushion in the bank for this major purchase.
