Answer... at least where to start from
Take the beauty covers off the top of the motor, and the possibly the underpanel also.
Spray down the motor liberally with foamy engine degreaser and let it sit for a while. Then use some low pressure water and wash the crap off. Depending on how dirty it is, it may take a second or even third application, and maybe a little bit of brushwork with your soon to be ex-wife's toothbrush (assuming you have one of those)... pay attention to the rear of the motor, back of the heads, especially on the passenger side.
All clean? Now then... Make sure all of the fluids are topped off, oil, Powersteering, coolant.
Start the car and let it heat up. With a flashlight and maybe an inspection mirror, LOOK for the source of the leak. Look EVERYWHERE.
The fluid is going to leak back out and give you a visual clue where it is coming from. Start up high and work your way down low...Once it is hot and starts to smoke, look up above where the source of the smoke is.
My money is on the cam tensioner seals. If you replaced the valve cover gaskets without also replacing the cam tensioner seals, be prepared to go in there again. You'll need a special cam tensioner tool, and I can't recommend highly enough the Bently manual. Do a search on here for cam tensioner and there is a boatload of information. If you have ANY doubts about your ability to effect this repair, then don't do it and find a reliable indpendent mechanic.
Good luck

Power steering pump is on the top center front of the motor...
... the resevoir is on the driver's side, as are the lines going to the rack and the cooling line.
Therefore any leak from the PS system would be unlikely to cause smoke on the passenger side. More likely it is a leak from the cam tensioner seal on the passenger side head, towards the rear of the motor, which is then dripping on the exhaust header.
