Default I would buy a manual. My left foot likes having a pedal to operate. :)

I learned to drive a manaul, I have had manuals all my life. If I drive an automatic, it is usually so unique that I am thinking about the fact it is an automatic, so I don't "shift" it. But, the few times I have had an AT long enough to get used to it,,, like a week long rental. If I get to that point where I am no longer thinking about the mechanics of driving, I end up trying to put in the clutch, hit that wide brake pedal, and pi$$ everybody off.

I'd much rather just drive a manual and never learn anything new... how many people drive a manual because they are lazy

Default Audi would have a much easier time selling me on the new model if they offered a stick. Next time

around I will either replace my beater with the newly imported A3-S3-RS3 or both my beater and the A6 will go and a A8-S8 will replace them. If a A6 is not availible with a stick I might as well jump class.

Default I wish there is sometype of semi automatic that offer the choice of gear slots

because it can get confusing sometimes and forgot what gear I am in and adopting to adjust to the DSG's sensitivity on more than one speed shift is annoying. I would prefer a row yourself gear slot with automatic clutch pick with the choice of fully auto.

Can you imagine a very short throw gear slot(because its electronic so the throw can be as short as they want and the feel of gear change can be made to talor as well. I can dream can't I?

Default Yes. My next Audi will be a V8 Avant with stick or DSG.

No matter how long I have to wait before AoA brings one here!
