Audi will not put the 4.2tdi in the A6/allroad becaus it would too close to the RS6 in acceleration!
In an A8, it gets to 62mph in a fair amount under 6 secs.

I like the S8, but maintenance $$$ after the warranty run out. And brakes are no longer covered by Audi so it's $2K if you need the dealer to do it or a vag-com to retract the rear pads...freaking electric parking brakes.
20-21" wheels on the new ones too! Even the S8 brakes look too small in dubs. And don't get me started on air suspensions (I forget, maybe the S8 has diffo).

American: Ford Fiesta
Japanese: Mazda 3 wagon
German: Audi A3 wagon or BMW 3 series wagon
Korean: Kia Soul
Swedish: Volvo V70
Probably will end up with an A3, 2nd choice 3 series. I'm tired of a big boaty car (c5 a6 avant) that eats gas, I want a smaller car and better mileage. AWD is nice here in MN, but I only really enjoy it a few times a year.
