Need feedback regarding a trunk issue that has started. When opening the trunk lid the trunk latch locking mechanism locks all 4 doors on the car, when I use the key fob to remotely open the the drivers door the lock will open momentarily and lock immediately. FYI the drivers door lock latch has been replaced.

I'd check the wiring at the trunk hinge for damage. If OK, start poking around with VAG-COM.

Thx, will do a wiring check from latch to hinge arm.
Noticed in ETKA that there is a micro switch by the lock latch, wonder if this could be the suspect? this could be the switch warning for trunk open/closed on instr. cluster.

This is why you need VAG-COM. Testing is easy.

Your hunch was right!! Did a wiring check and found all but 2 wires in the harness cut just above trunk hinge wire cover and found 1 wire cut in 2 places.
Tried to search for harness p/n on ETKA with no success, so just ended up splicing the harness wires back together, problem fixed.
