Default OK, what do you think my car is worth? '01 a6 6-speed, 2.7t, needs following work

brakes (rear rotor shot)
Cat converter (engine light comes on)
and there is evidence of rear bumper repaint (paint peeling in small spots)

Ok for the good~ish. The turbos are new, replaced @ 95k (car has 107k now).

The timing belt has been done @80k

I am either looking to sell, or if someone can suggest a reasonable shop in the north jersey/nyc metro area, I'm all ears.

Sorry, but even though this car is fun to drive, I can no longer pay 95/hr labor + euro-priced parts go keep it running.

Thanks in advance for your help or, if interested, your offers.

Default hope someone suggests a good shop near you cause you will miss this car regardless of the

maintenance problems that come with all cars, camry's/corolla's/civic's/accord's included. bout 8-9000...maybe 10 - 11 private sale max.

Default Indeed. The monthly payment for a new car will prolly be more than he is currently

paying for maintenance. If I added up all of the parts I've had to buy for my car over the past 2 years (not including mods)/labor costs at the stealer, it would be less than $1000. I do need to to top off my trans, replace the rear prop seal, and do control arms/tie rods. But I can do some of that myself. The labor for these cars is the real killer. If you can do some of the repairs yourself, then these cars aren't too bad.
