Default Not sure if this is a stupid question but, doing the clear corner mod with the lights
still on the car. i have the lenses off and am now tring to swap out the amber buld. Are you suppose to be able to take them staight out where the lense used to be.

(after re-reading your post that you pulled the outer lens off)...

Default The answere is YES~! If the lense is already out - AMBER LIGHT can be pulled out from the front.
Why make the mod more complicated if you can access it in front of you...why need to go to the back?

I have a 2001 so my bulbs do look a little different, but i assume i just pull staight out.

Default Should be similar, just Amber in color...
...and yes, just pull straight out
