Default haven't heard the SuperSprint, but I like the sound of the Milltek

the Milltek has a nice exotic sound without being overly loud. alot of people complain about it being too quiet, and it is quiet compared to the RS6, and not a muscle car sounding, but it still sounds good.

Default SS sounds great and has nice tips that fit the rear valence nicely. Not too loud, but has...

a little drone around 1800 RPM. I'd be surprised if the Miltek doesn't have a littlt drone around there, too. It's tough to tune an exhaust so that you don't have some cabin resonance in the useable RPM range.

SS doesn't make downpipes, so if you want a full-back, the Milltek is easier. Although, I had no trouble mating up my SS cat-back and Milltek downpipes when I installed mine.

Default Thanks for the info. Question (probably stupid), what's the benefit of using

the DP's vs. just the cat-back?

Default More power. The DP's with high-flow cats give you another 15 hp or so. Plus the sound...

from the exhaust is louder and sounds meaner.

Default 4.2Dreamer...DPs and Catback are the way to go. I would recommend resonated CB with DP though

That means Milltek

Happy Turkeyday!

Default I had a Milltek on my 4.2 and it is quite, definitely will pass the wife meter. As for the cool...

sound meter, the RS6 exhaust is the only way to go. This however did not pass the wife meter.

I personally hate the sound of the SuperSprint, and love the Milltek, but as Deuce4.2 said, the rs6 is the only way to go.

the supersprint just sounds too much like a ricebox for my liking.
